Raised on species-rich herbal leys overlooking the Argal Valley, our cattle grow slowly on grass, producing beautifully flavoured beef that's a pleasure to cook and share.

Our Pigs
who we are
Spargo Farm is quiet, family-run and proudly independent.
We raise beef and pork, keep hens for eggs, and grow and make good things for the people who live around us. Much of it ends up in our little farm shop. All the while, we are trying to make the soil richer, the wildlife wilder and the farm better with every passing season.
There is an art school here too. There are studios and workshops. People come to paint things, build things, grow things, cook things and occasionally make things that are very difficult to explain.
Throughout the year there are farm walks, exhibitions, talks, feasts, music, parties and plenty of other excuses for getting everybody together.
